Central Stone Company in St. Louis seeks a Forklift Operator/Barge Deckhand for our JB Terminal location. This full-time, daytime role involves working both land and water tasks, with occasional overtime and Saturday shifts.

Prior experience in barge operations or forklift work is preferred, but training is available. Responsibilities include unloading cargo from barges, rigging loads, operating a forklift, and completing paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Experience operating a forklift and/or skid steer.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift tasks as needed.
• Willingness to perform general labor and follow procedures with accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Operate a forklift to move product throughout the facility.
• Assist with barge unloading and loading activities and rig cargo as needed.
• Perform cleaning, sweeping, and general maintenance related to barge operations.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Work around water at depths up to 50 feet and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
