Illinois Marine Towing in Lemont, IL, seeks a Dry Barge Technician responsible for cleaning dry cargo on barges and assisting in yard operations. You will prepare and inspect equipment, enter and exit barges, and operate cleaning gear in a busy shipyard environment.

The role requires a high school education or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, TWIC, and a strong commitment to safety. You may travel to multiple locations, with primary base in Lemont, IL, and you will report to the Shipyard

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Strong understanding and application of workplace safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform barge cleaning and operate cleaning equipment.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and follow safety policies.
• Assist in other shipyard tasks as needed to meet business demands.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and safety rules.
• Carry out duties as directed by management.
• Support Illinois Marine Towing and Canal Barge Company mission.
• Position requires travel to multiple locations but based in Lemont, IL.
