Job Details

• Position: Barese-English Phone Interpreter
• Location: Remote in the United States
• Pay: $0.75 - $0.90 per minute, depending on call time and interpretation level

Responsibilities

• Handle calls promptly and professionally
• Render accurate interpretations, respecting cultural differences
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy
• Remain calm in stressful or emotional situations
• Follow client protocols and ensure confidentiality

Qualifications

• Fluency in Barese and English, including cultural understanding
• Excellent listening, note-taking, and concentration skills
• Ability to remain neutral and objective
• High school diploma or equivalent; language-related experience preferred
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Technical & Physical Requirements

• Personal device with internet, suitable for work
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace
• Ability to operate a computer and lift up to 26 lbs.
