Position Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production, and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, and other food items prepared in Barefoot Grill.

Essential Functions:
  • Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and as specified on guest check, to ensure consistency of product; requires transportation of heavy food products.
  • Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes.
  • Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
  • Visually inspects, selects, and uses only food items of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items.
  • Checks and controls the proper storage of products, monitoring portion control, especially for specific cuts of meat, to maintain quality.
  • Keeps all refrigeration, equipment, and storage and working areas in clean, working condition to comply with health department regulations.
Supportive Functions:

In addition to the essential functions, this position may perform additional supportive tasks such as general cleaning, moving supplies, and ensuring a safe working environment, as directed by the supervisor.

Experience Required: Two years cooking experience.
