Scissors & Scotch in Parker, CO is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Barber / Stylist Leader. You’ll cut hair about 32 hours per week while stepping in to run the shop when the General Manager isn’t present. This growth role emphasizes leadership, culture, and client excellence.

You’ll lead, mentor, and train the team, handle scheduling and inventory, and ensure the shop operates with high standards and a premium experience for every guest. A clear path exists toward General Manager.

Qualifications

• Licensed barber or cosmetologist with active license.
• Experience leading or supervising a team is beneficial.
• Strong focus on delivering premium client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead shop operations in GM’s absence and manage culture.
• Cut hair as primary role, ~32 hours weekly.
• Assist GM with scheduling, training, and team oversight.
• Maintain shop standards, inventory, and presentation.
• Drive team activities and foster a collaborative environment.
• Communicate with staff and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide occasional admin tasks on top of cutting hours.
