Pay: This is a full-time and part-time position offering a competitive wage of $23 – $28 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: The Barber Instructor position operates Monday through Friday. This regular daytime schedule provides consistency and work-life balance.

YOUR DAY AS A BARBER INSTRUCTOR

As a Barber Instructor, you will lead and instruct students on the clinic floor each day. You will demonstrate cutting, shaving, and grooming techniques, as well as real-world customer service. You will guide students through hands-on practice, maintain classroom structure, monitor student progress, answer technical questions, and foster the development of each Future Professional. You will contribute to a welcoming and inclusive school culture and participate in community-focused initiatives such as our FUNraising program, supporting both personal and professional growth.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A BARBER INSTRUCTOR

• Current barber license or barbering instructor license (training provided for the right candidate)
• Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
• Strong supervision, teamwork, and documentation abilities
• Solid work history with verifiable references
• Honesty, professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for barbering
• Experience in barbering or education, familiarity with Paul Mitchell products, and prior instruction at a barber school (preferred)
