Qualifications

• Texas barber or cosmetology license required.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Barber / Hair Stylist, your goal is simple: provide a great service and make sure every client leaves feeling great about their experience.

You will:

• Consult with clients about their hair, style preferences, and desired results.
• Recommend cuts and styles based on face shape, hair type, lifestyle, and personal preference.
• Perform high-quality haircuts, trims, fades, shaves, styling, and grooming services within the scope of your license.
• Shampoo and condition hair using appropriate products when needed.
• Perform applicable color services, including highlights and other techniques, based on experience and licensing.
• Recommend professional products and educate clients on maintaining their look at home.
• Build relationships with new and returning clients to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized, and professional workstation.
• Follow applicable safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements.
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive shop environment.
• Help create the fun, welcoming experience that keeps clients coming back.
