Job summary

Life Time is seeking a LifeSpa-Barber to provide professional hair services and grooming within our club setting. The role focuses on cutting, styling, and grooming to enhance the guest experience while avoiding chemical treatments.

Responsibilities include educating clients on LifeSpa products, staying current with industry trends, and maintaining clean, salon-ready work stations. A state barber license and HS diploma are required, with 1–3 years of barber experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a barber.
• Barber license in state where work is performed.

Position Summary

The LifeSpa-Barber provides various hair services and treatments that improve the guest's overall sense of well-being and enhances the club experience. Some services may include cutting, styling, and grooming and styling facial hair that result in exceeding the guest's expectations. This position does not perform chemical treatments such as coloring, highlighting, or perming as a part of their service list.

• Maintains work stations to salon standards

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent

Years of Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a barber
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Barber license in state where work is performed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a barber in a professional setting
• Knowledge in Salon Biz software
