Role Overview

The Barback is responsible for providing supplies and assisting the bartender with items upon request to ensure exceptional guest service in the concessions environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplies and assist bartenders with items upon request in a timely manner.
• Deliver stock to all concessions stands, portables, and commissaries.
• Stock bar items, fill ice bins, and anticipate bar needs throughout the shift.
• Assist in keeping all areas clean and organized.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and restocking food and beverage deliveries according to transfer dockets.
• Inspect stands for deficiencies, report concerns to management.
• Move equipment as required for events across the venue.
• Show flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English for communication with staff and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work all venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in an open‑air environment during all climate conditions.
• Punctual, dependable, and maintain personal hygiene and a well‑groomed appearance.
• Sufficient mobility to perform tasks such as standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and transport items weighing 10‑30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette preferred.
• Effective listening skills and ability to take direction from management.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.

Licenses & Certifications

• Required – RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring if necessary).
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, complete company‑wide safety training and any additional job‑specific safety training.
