Amara at Paraiso in Miami seeks a Barback to support bartenders, maintain a clean, well-stocked bar, and ensure guests receive attentive service. This role requires knowledge of beer, wine and liquor, plus the ability to handle money and operate a POS system.

The Barback will restock ice, replenish bar inventory, prepare garnishes, and assist with food orders at the bar. You must be 21+, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Be able to read, speak, and interpret English.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor and drink recipes.
• Must be able to handle money and operate a POS system.

Responsabilités

• Support Bartender and maintain clean and stocked bar area.
• Learn regular guests' names and recognize them personally.
• Wash and sterilize glassware and restock bar supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and replenish snacks for bar patrons.
• Present drink menus and assist with beverage recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar, counters, sinks, utensils, and storage areas.
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
• Report equipment problems to management and be flexible to cover shifts.
