Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Barback to support the bartending team, ensuring smooth operations and high guest service. You will maintain bar stock, assist with cleanliness, and help prepare garnishes and supplies to keep service flowing.

This role requires an outgoing, service-oriented personality, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and availability on weekends, nights, and holidays. White Lodging offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities across multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders to ensure excellent guest service.
• Maintain stock of ice, products, and supplies for bartenders.
• Ensure food sanitation practices are followed.
• Keep bar area clean by removing dishes and completing side work.
• Know menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods; answer guest questions accurately.
• Present a neat, professional appearance as a barback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Work with bartenders to ensure excellent guest service and assist where needed.
• Maintain stock of ice, product, and supplies for the bartenders.
• Ensure that food sanitation practices are followed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area by removing dishes, breaking down trays, and completing all necessary side work.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer guest questions.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
