Raines Company in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a bar back for their Workshop Lounge. The role involves supporting bartenders, serving food and drinks, and keeping the bar clean and stocked. The bar back is responsible for performing tasks that support the bartender and other staff members. Duties include opening and closing tasks, taking in-room dining orders, ensuring all items are stocked, assisting in reordering, and running food to guests. The position is scheduled for evening shifts in the Workshop Lounge. Shifts begin around 4pm and may require working as late as 12am; weekends and holidays are required as we are part of a full-service hotel.

Candidates willing to cross-train between departments (restaurant, banquets) will be considered for full-time employment (30+ hours per week) after a 90‑day probationary period.
High school education/GED.
Previous experience as a barback/support staff member. On‑the‑job training is provided.
Scheduled days and times vary based on hotel needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
