We are seeking an organized, energetic Barback to join our team at Violetto, our signature fine dining restaurant. Barbacks are essential to maintaining an efficient, clean, and well-stocked bar environment that allows bartenders to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

Support bartenders by ensuring all supplies are stocked, organized, and available during service.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas, bar tools, and equipment according to health and safety standards.

Assist with preparation of garnishes, replenishment of beverages, and restocking of glassware and bar products.

Remove trash, clean spills, and perform side work duties throughout and after service.

Engage with guests professionally when appropriate, providing discreet and polished support to the overall service experience.

Follow all California state and local laws related to alcohol service and food handling.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Previous restaurant or bar support experience preferred; luxury or fine dining experience is a plus.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while maintaining a polished appearance.

Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.

Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
