Job summary

Flight Club is opening a new venue in New York City and seeks a Barback to support bartenders in delivering high‑quality guest experiences in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in a high-volume setting, food handlers and alcohol certifications, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and legal right to work in the US. Compensation is $11.35–$17.00 per hour plus tips, with weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Current food handlers and alcohol certification maintained through employment
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably within a high-volume environment
• Available to work various shift times and days, including weekends and holidays
• Able to stand and/ or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift over 50+ lbs. if necessary
• Authorized to legally work in the US

Responsibilities

• Listen to the Customer: Build a rapport with guests, be active in assisting, and communicating requests
• Be Respectful of Company Resources: Manage stock effectively, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage to maintain inventory levels and reduce wastage
• Show Urgency: Report for all scheduled shifts punctually, in proper attire and to proper health and hygiene standards
• Create Positive Energy: Train new barbacks and encourage teamwork; maintain a positive attitude during service
