Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Barback for the Airport Dimensions Sapphire Lounge by the Club. This full-time role supports bartenders, maintains bar cleanliness, restocks supplies, and prepares garnishes using FIFO.

The position requires mobility, endurance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of related experience; benefits and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Collect empty glasses from the bar and wash glassware as necessary to ensure an adequate supply to serve customers.
• Prepares fresh garnishes for drinks employing the first-in, first-out (FIFO) system.
• Restocks bar/designated station with supplies and transports supplies to bar set-up area.
• Anticipates and communicates replenishment needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, and refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, throughout the entire duration of a shift, which may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
