Stone's Throw in Tampa, FL is seeking an efficient barback to work with bartenders and ensure prompt service in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with restocking, keeping the bar stocked, and supporting the team to deliver great drinks and experience to guests.

Ideal candidates are reliable, attentive, and able to manage time effectively, with availability nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you should be 18 or older to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced bar, restaurant, or nightlife venue.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening/closing duties and restocking garnishes, napkins, and glassware.
• Keep bar stocked with ice, liquor, wine, beer, and other supplies.
• Check taps/appliances; perform minor repairs or change kegs as needed.
• Maintain bar cleanliness; wipe surfaces, sweep/mop, dispose of trash.
• Learn menu items and memorize cocktail recipes.
• Take orders, prepare drinks, buss tables, open tabs, and process payments during peaks.
• Engage with customers, answer questions, and handle complaints.
• Record usage and assist in reordering and proper storage.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
