Job summary

The Barback at Maverick Hotels & Restaurants assists Bartenders to ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction in Chicago. You will stock and maintain the bar, keep areas clean, and support the bar team throughout shifts.

We value exceptional hospitality, teamwork, and attention to detail. Work includes evening and weekend hours in a dynamic hotel environment, with safety and cleanliness as top priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year customer service experience required.
• At least six months food & beverage experience required.
• Prior experience as a Bartender or Barback.
• Banquet or catering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items needed in the preparation of drink service.
• Trash pickup and disposal at bar and bar service areas.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Stock, replenish, clean, maintain, and prepare beverages under guidance.
• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks for Maverick MODs.
• Contribute to a teamwork environment by helping colleagues and guests.
• Attend mandatory meetings, training, workshops, and/or seminars.
• Maintain and stock bar items, glassware, and serving equipment.
