Norte Restaurant, a concept from IAM Hospitality, is preparing to open in New York. We are seeking a hardworking Barback to support bartenders and beverage teams in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires teamwork, stamina, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. You will stock the bar, prep garnishes, assist with setup and breakdown, and help maintain cleanliness and sanitation. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, barback, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work in high-volume or fine dining settings.
• Basic knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by anticipating needs.
• Maintain fully stocked bar stations with supplies.
• Prepare and replenish garnishes, juices, syrups.
• Restock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and other beverages.
• Assist with bar setup, breakdown, cleaning, and restocking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area and storage spaces.
• Receive, organize, rotate, and store beverage deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
