Job summary

Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center is seeking a Barback to support the beverage team at College Station, TX. You will set up hospitality carts, assist bartenders, and help with function set-ups to ensure smooth events and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. to a height of 5 feet.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations related to the sale and health codes of alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Set up hospitality and refresh them at scheduled times.
• Receive deliveries and restock.
• Fill daily requisitions for the main bar, service bar, and other departments.
• Clean and stock the liquor storage room and barback office.
• Maintain linen supplies for functions.
• Set up function carts with supplies.
• Track change sheets affecting the beverage department and adjust accordingly.
• Assist with functions, restocking items as needed.
• Adhere to resort policies and report violations to Human Resources.
• Work any assigned shift and schedule.
• Maintain high-level employee and guest relations.
