Job summary

Fairmont Century Plaza seeks a Barback to support the bartenders, prep team and kitchen while ensuring top guest experiences. You will prepare beverages following recipes, maintain bar cleanliness, and ensure compliance with liquor laws in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine and beer.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred experience in food and beverage or barista roles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience as barback in luxury/high-volume settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exceed guest expectations.
• Assist bartenders to ensure service standards.
• Coordinate with prep team and kitchen for service readiness.
• Stock and break down the bar for service.
• Maintain liquor, beer, wine knowledge.
