Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Barback for the JW Marriott Reston Station Hotel. You will support bartenders, keep the bar stocked, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout shifts. This role offers growth within a luxury hospitality environment in Reston, VA.

You’ll work as part of a dynamic team, provide excellent guest service, and help maintain an exceptional experience in a high-end hotel setting. English communication and physical demands are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.

• Able to communicate well with guests.
• Able to lift and move up to 30 lbs and assist coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes and glassware throughout service.
• Keep the bar fully stocked, organized and functioning efficiently.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and sanitize surfaces regularly.
• Refill ice bins, beverage stations and bar tools during service.
• Restock items before, during and after shifts.
• Prepare garnishes and bar tools; wash and stock citrus and herbs.
• Set up and close the bar, including prepping items and post-service cleanup.
• Keep storage areas organized and follow lifting procedures.
