Job summary

Belterra Casino Resort is seeking a Barback to maintain bar stock levels and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include transporting beverages, cleaning the bar area, and operating cash registers. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Indiana ABC Permit.

This role requires physical stamina, lifting up to 50 pounds and ensuring excellent customer interactions throughout shifts. Prior experience in a similar position is preferred.

Job Description

The Barback maintains established bar stock levels by transporting cases of beverages from walk‑in coolers to bar. Prepare written requisitions to maintain appropriate stock levels. Maintain supplies of ice, glassware, drink garnishes, etc. for bars.

• Maintains established bar stock levels by transporting cases of beer, bottled water, liquor, etc. from walk‑in coolers to bar.
• Prepares written requisitions for stock.
• Maintains supplies of ice, glassware, drink garnishes, and keep fresh fruit rotated.
• Cleans and maintains all areas of bar.
• Restocks kegs of beer (approximately 50 pounds) in the walk‑in coolers.
• Cleans reach‑in coolers and rotates bottled beer.
• Empties trash bins in bar area and transports to proper refuse bin.
• Receives and fulfills beverage orders from guests, cocktail servers, and bartenders.
• Prepares alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes.
• Operates cash registers, and accurately completes transactions according to standardized procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the same or related field preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Indiana ABC Permit (Liquor License) required.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
