Job summary

A local sports organization in Tulsa is seeking a motivated Barback to support the bar staff during events. This role requires good physical strength to lift items and a reliable, punctual attitude. Responsibilities include restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness of the bar, and assisting bartenders. The ideal candidate should be flexible with scheduling and possess a strong work ethic. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth in bartending roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barback or in food & beverage preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (30–50 lbs).
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and team oriented.
• Weekend availability required; event schedules may vary.
• Fast-paced environment experience is a plus.

Ascension St. John's Sportsplex is a fast‑paced, energetic environment serving athletes, families, and spectators throughout the week. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Barback to support our bartending staff and help deliver a great guest experience during games, tournaments, and private events.

Responsibilities

• Restock beer, liquor, mixers, and bar supplies throughout service
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas (sanitizing surfaces, organizing products, removing trash)
• Replenish ice, cups, garnishes, and inventory as needed
• Assist bartenders with prep, setup, and breakdown before and after shifts
• Help ensure compliance with safety and alcohol service policies
• Deliver quick, accurate support during high‑volume periods
• Communicate inventory shortages to management

Qualifications

• Previous barback or food & beverage experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (kegs, cases, ice bins)
• Strong work ethic and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment
• Must be 18+
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
• Weekend availability required; event schedules may vary
