Job summary

Stonebridge in Montgomery, TX is seeking a Barback to support bartenders by keeping the bar stocked, clean, and organized. You’ll replenish supplies, prepare garnishes, and help ensure smooth service during peak hours.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of bar operations, can work in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to work nights and weekends. Prior bar experience is preferred. This is a part-time, non-exempt role with tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking all bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and washing bar tools and equipment.
• Prepare garnishes and ensure they are fresh and readily available for bartenders.
• Keep ice bins stocked and assist with beverage preparation during peak hours.
• Remove and dispose of trash and empty bottles as needed throughout the shift.
• Ensure all beverage storage areas are well-organized and properly stocked.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar for service.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the Bar Manager or Supervisor.
• Respond to bartender requests quickly and efficiently to ensure uninterrupted service.

Job Summary:

The Barback is responsible for supporting bartenders by maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar area, ensuring smooth and efficient service. This role includes replenishing supplies, preparing garnishes, and keeping the bar organized to enhance guest satisfaction.

Work Environment:

• Frequent standing and walking required throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks, such as stocking and cleaning.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
