Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe NY is seeking a Barback to support bartenders, keep the bar stocked, and ensure fast, friendly service. You will help maintain inventory, label and rotate items, and assist with opening and closing tasks to keep the bar running smoothly.

This role emphasizes guest interaction and teamwork in a high-energy environment. Competent communication and reliability are essential for delivering memorable experiences to our guests.

Qualifications

Hourly Wage is $11.35/hr.

Barbacks are responsible for keeping the bar stocked and clean while assisting bartenders in providing the necessary support to ensure prompt and friendly service to our guests.

• Maintaining a clean and organized bar.
• Maintaining proper product pars – through bar pulls & inventories.
• Stocking liquor, beer, ice, wine and glassware throughout the shift.
• Properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items in the bar
• Performing opening, closing & side duties – setting up/breaking down the bar, cleaning glass/countertops, sweeping the floor, etc.
• Rotating product to maintain freshness.
• Putting away liquor/beer orders if applicable.
• Preparing fruit and making scratch recipes if applicable.
• Working with a sense of urgency.
• Approaches guests and welcomes them upon arrival.
• Assisting in communicating with guests, hosts, servers and other bussers.
• Ensures ongoing guest satisfaction by assisting with food delivery, pre-bussing as necessary, removing clutter and reacting to guest needs in a timely manner.
• Respond to guest inquires in a courteous and polite manner.
• Creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Entertaining guests to create “Raving Fans. ”
• Promptly and professionally handles guest issues and communicates problems and concerns to management.

Pay Range: $2 - $25
