Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Barback at the Airport Dimensions Sapphire Lounge by the Club in a full-time capacity. You will support the bartender, keep the bar stocked and clean, and assist with setup and service.

Flexible shifts and open availability help you fit the role into your schedule. Responsibilities include setting up the bar, washing glassware, preparing garnishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining health code standards while standing for long periods and occasionally lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• 0 to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Must be at least the minimum age to serve alcohol per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the bar area and equipment.
• Wash glassware and keep an adequate supply for service.
• Prepare fresh garnishes using FIFO system.
• Restock bar supplies and assist with bar set-up.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and comply with health standards.
• Able to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

As a Barback at Sodexo, you will perform various duties and responsibilities that support the Bartender. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Collect empty glasses from the bar and wash glassware as necessary to ensure an adequate supply to serve customers.
• Prepares fresh garnishes for drinks employing the first-in, first-out (FIFO) system.
• Restocks bar/designated station with supplies and transports supplies to bar set-up area.
• Anticipates and communicates replenishment needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, and refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, throughout the entire duration of a shift, which may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:
