Job summary

CR STEAK LV LLC is hiring a Barback for Carversteak at Resorts World Las Vegas. You will stock bar supplies, assist bartenders, and help maintain a clean, organized bar area to deliver exceptional guest service.

Ideal candidates stand for long periods, can lift up to 50 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends; knowledge of menus and sanitation standards is a plus in this fast-paced, high-end venue on the Las Vegas Strip.

Carver Road Hospitality introduced the company's first concept in Winter 2021 at Resorts World Las Vegas. A reimagining of the casino steakhouse paid homage to mid-century modern classic nostalgia while utilizing contemporary design, technology, and techniques to offer a contemporary interpretation.

At 14,500 square feet, the property's exclusive steakhouse offers an expansive bar and lounge area, a plush main dining room floor, and a sweeping terrace with an outdoor bar, dining, and lounge gardens overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Inside the main dining room, a comprehensive digital art program complements a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system to create a dramatic ambiance that evolves in mood and tone as the night progresses.

Carversteak's menu features dry-aged American steaks from artisan beef producers and Japanese-certified Wagyu steaks alongside classic preparations of other steakhouse staples, infused with seasonal ingredients, playful presentations, and even an array of vegan selections. On the beverage side, famed mixologist Francesco Lafranconi features an extensive wine list, curated whiskey collection, and an Avant- Garden cocktail experience on the terrace with an onsite herb garden. Several private event spaces are available including two dedicated private dining rooms, the Knife Shop and the Scotch Room, and a large outdoor private garden.

Position Summary

The bar prep/stocker is responsible for stocking/restocking all bar supplies while maintaining an organized bar area. The bar stocker/prep may assist the bartender with other duties such as preparing drinks if needed, to ensure exceptional guest service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.

• Anticipate and accommodate needs of the guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Maintain general cleanliness of bar, bar area and the entire venue.

• Possesses general knowledge of all food and beverage menus, and company policies & procedures.

• Protects establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and company sanitation standards.

• Properly sets-up the bar stations, prepares and restocks garnishes, as directed by management.

• Performs side-work as assigned.

• Assists the bartenders to ensure a high level of quality and prompt guest service.

• Responsible for emptying the trash from behind the bar.

• Responsible for keeping clean and organized to the company standard all back of house storage and refrigeration.

• Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels.

• Responsible for reporting all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.

• Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.

• Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
