Job summary

Thompson’s Bookstore Cocktail Lounge and Speakeasy in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Barback to support bartenders and keep the bar stocked and clean.

Ideal candidates have prior bar/restaurant experience, TABC and Texas Food Handler certifications, and flexibility to work afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Support and assist bartenders in executing great service for our guests.

Job Duties:

• Maintaining bar cleanliness during and after service.
• Stocking and restocking bar products during and after service.
• Assisting bartenders with service.
• Assist in bar station set up, break down, and maintenance.
• Greet guests, start and close tabs.
• Prep juices, syrups, batches, etc for service.
