Job summary

Cosm is seeking a Barback to assist the Bartender and maintain the bar area during all hours of operation. You will help with setup, stocking, and ensuring cleanliness while delivering a memorable guest experience.

Ideal candidates are experienced in fast-paced hospitality, fluent in English, with knowledge of alcohol service regulations and strong teamwork. This role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds and flexibility to work late hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year of barback experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Fluent English; basic writing is required.
• Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate essential job functions and follow Cosm policies.
• Prepare section for service and ensure it is ready at schedule time.
• Follow Pillars of Service for guest interactions.
• Assist team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform basic mathematics as needed.
• Engage fans, coworkers, and managers professionally.
• Ensure guests are cared for from entry to departure.
• Know Cosm products, services, promotions, and events.
• Follow supervisors' direction and complete side work as needed.
• Adhere to state liquor laws and company policies.
