Job summary

Compass Group USA's Levy venues are hiring a Barback to support the bartender team, help maintain exceptional cleanliness, and ensure timely service during busy hours.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of barback experience, knowledge of beverage preparation, a valid food handler card, and state alcohol certification; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Multiple shifts are required, with opportunities to learn and grow within Levy's hospitality network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years barback experience in a fast-paced full-service setting.
• Understanding of mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic beverages.
• Food handlers’ card and state alcohol certification.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items to the bar area.
• Set up bar with top-shelf liquor and stock snacks and supplies.
• Assist in opening/closing side work and bus tables.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and sanitize surfaces.
• Follow state liquor laws and company policies.
• Prepare and serve beverages to assist bartender.
