Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems in Reno, NV is seeking a hospitality team member to assist bartenders and cocktail staff, maintain bar setup, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation across guest areas. The role requires reliable weekend and night availability and a minimum age of 21.

You will greet guests, promote hotel services, and support inventory control while working with refrigerated units and bar storerooms. Prior bar experience is preferred and alcohol service knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of serving alcohol with care and menu products.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate a glassware washing machine and to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines, change kegs, transport empty kegs to designated areas.
• Candidate must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral form.
• Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills is required.
• Must have the following skills: compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders and cocktail staff in performance of their duties.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing equipment.
• Recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services.
• Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner and conveying hotel activities to guests.
• Maintain and organize bars and storerooms including refrigerated units.
• Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals.
• Maintain proper inventory of product.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
