Job description

Overview

As a member of the Festival Bar Staff, you will be part of the high-energy team responsible for delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe, efficient, and fun environment at our bar areas. Your role is crucial in keeping the good vibes flowing and ensuring attendees enjoy a seamless beverage experience.

This role pays an hourly rate of $2.13 and is tip eligible.

This is a seasonal role that will start in May 21, 2025 and will end on August 1, 2025.This position will remain open until August 1, 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately

  • Check IDs to verify legal drinking age

  • Handle cash and card transactions using a POS system

  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area throughout the shift

  • Restock fridges, cups, and supplies as needed

  • Communicate with security regarding intoxicated or problematic patrons

  • Follow all licensing laws, safety protocols, and festival rules

  • Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment

  • Represent the festival’s values with a professional and positive attitude

Qualifications

  • Able to use a till or POS system

  • Can work on your feet for long hours

  • Able to lift and carry heavy items (e.g. crates, kegs)
