Job summary

Willie’s Grill & Ice House in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Bar Service (Counter) Team Member to deliver friendly counter service, handle beverage orders, and contribute to a fun, high-energy dining experience. You will know the menu, manage alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, work with a team, and help maintain a clean station while following safety and service guidelines.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Alcohol Certification and Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• Strong verbal communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle money accurately.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, timely, and courteous service to guests at the counter and throughout the restaurant.
• Know the menu, wines, beers, and cocktails to make helpful recommendations.
• Follow company policies, including sanitation, dress code, and service guidelines.
• Take and deliver beverage orders accurately, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Assist fellow team members to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform side work as required.
• Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures and promptly notify management of any concerns.
• Welcome and thank guests warmly, inviting them to return.
