Responsibilities

Job Description: Maintains the bar area by managing supplies, equipment, and removing empty or soiled articles, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness according to established policies, ensuring guests enjoy a safe and memorable experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division relevant to position responsibilities.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, and communicate verbally.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying of weights over 50 pounds, reaching, stooping, squatting, and bending. Ability to push, pull, stock, and unload carts and liquor cabinets.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including secondhand smoke and noise.
  • The casino operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays; work schedule may vary accordingly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, manual handling, reaching, stooping, squatting, and bending. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • The environment is hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy, with potential exposure to environmental factors like secondhand smoke and noise.

Closing:

The Tribal Council prioritizes employment for Native Americans, giving first preference to Seminole Tribe members who meet job requirements, followed by other federally recognized Native American Tribes.

Final candidates will need to obtain gaming licensure through background checks, including credit and criminal background checks, as part of the employment process.
