Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Bar Porter at The Bellagio in Las Vegas to help ensure our bars are fully stocked and running smoothly. You will replenish glassware, beverages and supplies, maintain a polished and inviting environment, and support the team in delivering energy, elegance and legendary service.

The ideal candidate is 21+ years old, able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and has experience in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain inventory levels including glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products and other items.
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas and bar equipment; sanitation and housekeeping of work areas, refrigerators and counters.
• Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries.
• Maintain liquor, beer and supplies in coolers and storage; order as needed.
• Set up and break down portable bars in designated areas.
• Use correct freight elevators and routes to hotel areas and beverage outlets.
• Organize pump rooms and storage areas; alert management for non-stock items.
• Resolve guest complaints within authority or refer to management as needed.

As a Bar Porter at The Bellagio, you will play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences by ensuring our world-class bars are fully stocked, organized, and operating seamlessly. THE STARTING RATE:

$24.7819 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain assigned levels of inventory, including delivery and stock of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation and work area, to include cleaning refrigerators, counter tops, and mopping floors
• Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries
• Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage area, order as needed
• Responsible for set‑up and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas
• Ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets
• Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses, and identify non‑stock items and alert management as necessary
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
