Job summary

A leading casino is seeking a Bartender Assistant responsible for ensuring that bar areas are stocked and maintained. The position requires cleaning, stocking beverages, and supporting bartenders during service, along with a requirement for flexibility in scheduling. Qualifications

Job description

Summary: Cleans and stocks public and/or service bars ensuring bartenders have necessary beverages and bar supplies on hand to service guests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Stocks beverage outlets with wine, bottled beer and other beverages.
  • Washes glasses, bar, and equipment and polishes bar fixtures.
  • Cleans bar area including floors, counters and other surfaces.
  • Removes empty bottles and trash.
  • Performs all tasks in accordance with established policies and guest service standards.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months or more related experience or training preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Regularly required to see, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms and see.
  • Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to speak and hear.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under occasional fast paced and noisy work conditions.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
