Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Chicago seeks a friendly bar staff member to support fast-paced outlets and ensure excellent guest service. You will help with setup, cleaning, and station upkeep while assisting bartenders during peak times.

Responsibilities include breaking down and cleaning bar areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards across all service points to ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Cleans glass washer and drains; maintains equipment (e.g., blenders, mixers).
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Breaks down and cleans bar outlets; cleans reach-ins, beer and keg coolers, elevators, and wine containers.
• Cleans service stations, including drains, counters, guns, ice bins, boots, speed racks, EDi’s, and syrup containers.
• Checks and maintains the required bar stock; maintains cleanliness and order in assigned station.
• Removes trash and disposes of all boxes.
• Obtains replacement stock from the warehouse inventory; maintains stockroom cleanliness.
• Assists bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests’ special requests, and during busy times, icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks.
