Global Gourmet Catering is seeking a Barback to support on-site operations at events in San Francisco. You will unload, load, distribute, and replenish beverages and other items for bars and bartenders, delivering friendly, efficient service.

The role emphasizes physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities extending to stocking, cleanliness, and assisting bartenders to ensure smooth event execution.

Qualifications

• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods during shifts.
• Experience as Barback or similar role preferred but not required.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Stock and restock bars with beverages, ice, glassware, and other supplies.
• Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs (kegs, cases, ice buckets).
• Push and pull carts loaded with supplies to storage areas.
• Assist bartenders in maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked bar.
• Dispose of trash, clean spills, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Operate in a fast-paced setting while attending to bar needs.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of bars for events.
