Waldorf Astoria is seeking a Bar Manager to join the food and beverage team in Chicago's Gold Coast!
This Forbes 4-Star property located in downtown Chicago features 318 rooms, 8,500 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets, including a restaurant, cocktail lounge, cafe, and in-room dining.
In this role, you will oversee the hotel's speakeasy, Bernard's, managing a team of over 10 staff members, reporting directly to the General Manager of Restaurants & Bars, and assisting with the other three food and beverage outlets as needed.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic leader with a talent for maintaining high standards, a passion for creating personalized guest experiences, and fostering a positive team culture. A minimum of 2 years of bar and beverage experience in an upscale or fine dining environment is required. Experience in a union environment and luxury hotels is a plus.
