We are seeking a committed, experienced Bar Manager to join our team at My Neighbor Felix at our Denver location . My Neighbor Felix is a pan-Mexican kitchen + bar serving up craft margaritas & cocktails and fresh cuisine inspired by all seven regions of Mexico in a chic space with friendly vibes.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and customer-focused Bar Manager who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to create an inviting atmosphere, maintain efficient service, manage the bar's inventory, and ensure the business is compliant with safety and alcohol regulations. If you have experience overseeing all aspects of bar operations, from managing staff and customer relations, to ensuring the bar maintains a high standard of service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

Staff Management:

Hire, train, and supervise bartenders, servers, and other bar staff.

Create work schedules and assign tasks to staff members.

Foster a positive team environment to ensure smooth bar operations.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development.

Customer Service:

Ensure a high standard of customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns promptly.

Interact with guests to enhance their experience and ensure satisfaction.

Oversee bar area to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere.

Inventory & Ordering:

Maintain accurate inventory of bar supplies and beverages.

Order liquor, mixers, and supplies as needed.

Track and manage bar stock to prevent waste and ensure cost control.

Monitor bar expenses and adhere to budget constraints.

Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.

Maintain records of sales, receipts, and stock movements.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol-related laws and regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area, adhering to sanitation standards.

Ensure responsible alcohol service and monitor intoxication levels among guests.

Marketing & Promotion:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers.

Plan and coordinate special events, happy hours, and promotions to boost sales.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and customer preferences to create appealing drink menus.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a bar or restaurant setting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Knowledge of mixology, bar equipment, and beverage trends.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Strong understanding of food and beverage operations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Basic understanding of financials, including budget and labor cost management.
