Job summary

A New York bar is looking for a Bar Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage operations. You'll lead the bar and service team, maintain quality standards, manage budgets, and provide training to ensure excellent service. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and excellent knowledge of food and beverages. Competitive compensation is offered, with annual pay ranging from $70,000 to $75,000 plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience behind the bar in a similar environment, management experience strongly preferred.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of beverage operations including service, staffing, and administration.
• Ensure beverage-related expenses are performing on budget.
• Train team members on beverage offerings, ensuring sound knowledge and proficiency.
