Job summary

Dawn is seeking a Bar Manager to join our team in Chicago. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of bartending or management experience and strong leadership to align with Dawn's culture of excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities include assisting with product ordering, scheduling, payroll, vendor inspections, supervising BOH & FOH staff, and ensuring a fun, safe, and efficient environment for guests and staff. Weekend and night shifts are required.

Qualifications

Experience as a lead bartender or manager in hospitality.
Experience with inventory software.
Strong math and reporting skills.
Ability to learn budgeting tools (Google Sheets and Connecteam).
Strong teamwork and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Food and Beverage Director with product ordering, scheduling, payroll, and achieving targets.
Inspect vendor deliveries and file invoices.
Supervise BOH & FOH staff and ensure clear shift communication.
Maintain a fun, positive, and efficient environment for staff and guests.
Learn budgeting tools in Google Sheets to achieve restaurant goals.
Support training for new hires.
Monitor safety and quality standards.
