**Job Summary**

Leaf Cigar Bar at Famous Smoke Shop is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about premium cigars and spirits, and skilled in bar management. This role requires a flexible schedule, RAMP certification, and eligibility for liquor license transfer.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania liquor laws, health regulations, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate liquor inventory and manage ordering/restocking efficiently.
• Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Hire, train, and manage bartenders and bar staff.
• Create and maintain staff schedules based on business needs.
• Conduct team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
• Promote a positive work environment and uphold high customer service standards.
• Engage with guests to provide a premium cigar and drink pairing experience.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
• Monitor service quality and ensure an upscale atmosphere.
• Develop and execute promotions, events, and drink specials to drive sales.
• Work with marketing teams to promote bar offerings and special events.
• Track sales and customer preferences to optimize menu offerings.
  
  

**Education and Experience**

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in bar management, restaurant management, or a similar leadership role.
• RAMP Owner/Manager Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of liquor laws, responsible alcohol service, and bar operations.
• Experience in staff management, scheduling, and training.
• Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and cigar pairings is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a cigar lounge, upscale bar, or hospitality setting is a plus.
• Experience working with print and digital media, preferably in catalog or marketing content
  
  

**Skills and Qualifications**

• RAMP Owner/Manager Certification (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) -- Required.
• Must be eligible for liquor license transfer.
• 2+ years of bar management experience (preferably in an upscale or cigar lounge setting).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and cigar pairings is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (Thursday -- Saturday, 11 AM -- 10 PM).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  

**Physical Requirements**

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to an entire shift).
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. (e.g., kegs, boxes of supplies, liquor cases).
• Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to stock and retrieve inventory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in an environment with cigar smoke.
• Manual dexterity in operating POS systems, pouring drinks, and preparing beverages.
