Job summary

• Test and adjust as needed.
• Detect, report and document unusual conditions, defective material or safety/ delivery issues.
• Work in a team, cross-train and meet production requirements as required.
• Perform other work per Supervisor’s direction.

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are looking for a General Laborer to join our Fabrication team on 1st shift! This position will be based at our Roebuck, SC site.

This position could be working with moving material, taping, peeling, loading, unloading, use of mechanical tools, different measurement tools and assembly areas.

Shift Hours: 6:30
am – 2:00 pm

Hourly Rate: $20.50

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In this role, you must be able to meet the physical requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ability to complete a 1/4 mile walk within 7 minutes, lift weights up to 40 lbs., sustain kneeling & standing for up to 30 minutes and perform push & pull tasks with a least 87 lb. force.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer – sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Experience in Manufacturing
• Experience working with basic hand tools, power tools and measurement tools
