Summary |
The Bar and Book Lead is responsible for supervising restaurant operations in the Bar and Book. This is accomplished by providing positive leadership and a work environment conducive to team efforts in reaching the companys goals. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Focuses efforts on staff management, increasing sales, customer relations and business planning for the Bar & Book.
- Responds to customer complaints and builds customer loyalty.
- Responsible for maintenance of the facility by continuously communicating with the Engineering department as repair and maintenance needs arise.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the facility by continuously communicating with the Janitorial service company.
- Follows through on all Lone Star Park policies and procedures.
- Monitors the physical condition of the building and equipment and notifies Building Maintenance of deficiencies in the facility.
- Ensures all departments comply with OSHA regulations including the Hazard Communication Program.
- Interacts with personnel and the general public in a professional, ethical manner.
- Maintains integrity and confidentiality of all company, customer, and employee-related information.
- Ensures job-related injuries/illnesses are reported timely in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Contributes to a positive work environment by participating in company and/or employee events and activities.
- Works the hours necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, which may include odd hours and/or remaining on-call for problem solving purposes.
- Performs all other work related duties as assigned by the Bar and Book Restaurant Manager.

Training and Experience:
- 2+ years related management experience and/or training; or 5+ years of job related experience.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
