Job summary

The Hotel Hershey is seeking a part-time team member to assist in the Iberian Lounge, service bar, banquet bars, and poolside bar. This seasonal role starts April/May and offers weekend and holiday shifts with friendly perks.

Responsibilities include setting up bars, stocking supplies, keeping areas clean, and assisting with wine, spirits, and beer service. Prior bar experience helps; must be 18+ and obtain RAMP certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• RAMP Certification required post-employment.
• Previous bar experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartender with daily operations of Iberian Lounge and banquet bars.
• Set up service bars and portable bars for events.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock inventory.
• Deliver wines, spirits and beer and obtain receipts.

This position is responsible for assisting the bartender with the daily operations of the Iberian Lounge, service bar, and banquet bars, and poolside bar.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Duties include carrying supplies and equipment such as wine, spirits, fruits, ice, glassware, tables, chairs, etc. helping to set up service bars and portable bars for parties

Cleaning away debris and maintaining good order in the bar areas

Cleaning all beverage areas

Delivering wines, spirits and beer and obtaining required receipts for same

Keeping all bars stocked.

• Prepare bar prep recipes as assigned by management.

Back up bartender for poolside bar.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Post-employment - RAMP Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Previous bar experience helpful.

Must be well groomed and cordial with guests.

Job Demands:

This is a seasonal position available for the summer season beginning April/May.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule days and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

This position is primarily 2nd shift, however the work schedule may vary based on operational needs.

Must be able to lift 70 lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time.

This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
