Luminary Hotel & Co is seeking a Barback in Fort Myers, FL to support bartenders and keep the outlet well-stocked and organized. The role emphasizes friendly guest interaction, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include stocking, garnishing, running food, and maintaining par levels, with a focus on accuracy, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. Prior hospitality experience and comfort with POS systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or bar environment.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.
• Customer service experience is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with hospitality mindset.
• Ability to use technology (computers/tablets/iPads/POS).
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Sense of ownership in all duties.

Responsabilités

• Provide service to bartenders promptly and professionally.
• Prepare beverage garnishes and mixes.
• Stock and rotate beer, wine, liquor, and supplies accurately.
• Clean glasses, utensils, tools and bar equipment.
• Run food from kitchen to bar to ensure timely service.
• Share menu knowledge with guests, including ingredients and prices.
• Maintain opening/closing par levels for beverages and consumables.
• Assist in receiving and unloading bar items and stocking.
• Keep the bar, cooler and storage area clean and organized.
