The Bar Back supports bartenders by restocking supplies to ensure smooth service during events, while adhering to alcohol policies. The role requires excellent attendance and availability for scheduled events.

This position pays $11.00 per hour plus tips. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan and matching. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no deadline.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Stocking bar supplies, including beverages, ice, and utensils; moving kegs; drafting beer; pouring wine; and running supplies to bartenders.
  2. Ensuring equipment is operational and clean before events.
  3. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and surrounding areas.
  4. Recognizing and addressing guests who are visibly intoxicated.
  5. Adhering to health and safety standards.
  6. Demonstrating excellent attendance.
  7. Working effectively in a team and fast-paced environment.
  8. Communicating professionally with staff and guests.
  9. Possessing valid food handling and alcohol service permits if required.
  10. Calculating basic math for inventory management.
  11. Speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  12. Experience in high-volume bar settings is preferred.
