Levy Restaurants at the University of Michigan venue is seeking a Bar Back to support the concessions team on event days. You will receive liquor, beer and wine from the storeroom and replenish stock throughout shifts, ensuring a smooth bar operation.

Responsibilities include stocking bar items, setting up bottles, delivering beverages and snacks, and maintaining cleanliness in bar and lounge areas. This role supports fast-paced service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receives all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom on event day. Replenishes all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar throughout the shift.
• Retrieves all needed food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area.
• Retrieves all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area.
• Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
• Ensures stock is ready for assigned area.
• Places appropriate bar snacks on counter; keeps supplies stocked throughout shift.
• Assists in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Helps ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
• Ensures rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
