Job description

Seacliff Inn, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is searching for a part-time Barback to join the team! The Barback will be responsible for courteously and efficiently assisting the Bartender while ensuring a pleasant experience for guests.

Core functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
  2. Assist the Bartender in waiting on guests, making recommendations, and upselling.
  3. Help create and serve beverages.
  4. Process all cash and charge transactions according to house procedures.
  5. Stock side station with garnishments, bar mats, mixers, ice, and jiggers.
  6. Assist Food and Beverage Manager with stocking beverages and mixes.
  7. Stock beverages and mixes for the next shift.
  8. Close checks and run reports at the end of the shift.
  9. Maintain clean bar tables, chairs, stools, and counter surfaces at all times.
  10. Adhere to food safety requirements.
  11. Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  12. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant, and hotel.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
